Privacy Notice
Customer feedback for Cox Family Stores · Effective Friday, October 30, 2026
This notice covers the "How are we doing?" feedback survey you reach by scanning a code at a Cox Family Stores location. Cox Family Stores (C&J Cox Corporation) runs the feedback program. One Tap Request by DBC hosts the survey for Cox as its service provider and uses your information only to run this program for Cox.
What we collect
- Your answers: ratings, the topics you pick, and any comment you type.
- Optional contact: an email or phone number, only if you ask for a reply or ask us to email your thank-you code.
- Technical data: a random code saved in your browser's storage, so we can recognize a repeat visit from the same phone and limit duplicate surveys and thank-you codes. If your browser blocks storage, we use a one-way code made from your connection and browser instead. We do not store your IP address with your answers.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels, and you never need an account or app. You can clear the saved code at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
How it is used
- To send your feedback to the store team and help them fix problems quickly.
- To show you a thank-you code, when Cox offers one. The code is given for every completed survey, whatever you say.
- To answer you, only if you asked for a reply.
- To email your code, only if you ask. We never add you to marketing unless you separately check a box that says so.
Who receives it
Cox Family Stores and its staff. Service providers that run the system: Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection) and Resend (email delivery). We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Bot protection: this survey uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting. Turnstile is subject to the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Wallet card (optional): if you tap "Add to Google Wallet," Google receives the gift details needed to show the card: the gift, your code, its expiry date and the store's location (for an optional reminder near the store). We send no name, email or phone. Google's Privacy Policy applies to the card in your Google Wallet.
How long we keep it
Survey answers are kept to show trends over time. Email addresses given for a code are deleted 90 days after the code expires, unless you chose to receive offers.
Your choices and rights
Every question is optional except the first two ratings, and contact details are always optional. California residents may ask to know, correct or delete personal information collected through this survey. Children
This survey is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
